5. Your information will be processed using the Camtech e-Commerce Payment Gateway

The Camtech E-Commerce Payment Gateway, which resides at Camtech, connects directly to the Australian banking network into five Australian Financial institutions (CBA, Westpac, NAB, St George Group and Bank West). The Camtech E-Commerce Payment Gateway is capable of processing multiple Merchant Server sessions and validates incoming connections through the use of digital certificates. When the customer’s credit card information is received from the merchant’s web server it is then passed to the bank in the correct AS2805F format. The link between the payment gateway server and the bank is a dedicated private segment and uses non-routable networking addresses. This server is protected by SUN Microsystems EFS SunScreen Firewall and Checkpoints Firewall-1 as well as a hardened operating system. The link between the Merchant Server and Payment Gateway is encrypted using 1024 bit RSA encryption standard. This ensures the highest level of encryption available so that sensitive information is kept confidential.

 

 

6. Does eWord Development share the information that it gathers with government agencies or law enforcement?

eWord Development reserves the right to monitor, and disclose to, government officials or law enforcement, without your consent, any communications and personally identifiable information, whenever prompted to do so, by legal authorities, even when you have requested that your information not be disclosed to third parties.
