Development’s “Task Tracker” is a cost-effective business process

Task Tracker is
designed for browser access (Internet Explorer 5.x or later) for intranet,
extranet, or internet access.
The solution utilises Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to provide a robust,
cost-effective and highly scalable database back-end.
Security is provided via Windows NT/2000 domain
authentication, with a range of configurable ‘roles’ that are associated to the
user’s network logon for single login. Task Tracker dynamically configuring
screens and system access to match individual user's roles.
Work-flow A multi-layered work-flow capability
allows issues to be logged, then managed to completion via a range of system
roles.
Assignment Service Providers actioning the
tasks, can manage tasks assigned to their Group with concise system actions
- Pick-Up, Release, Update Progress, Transfer, Resolve, and Cancel actions.
Administration includes management of Users,
User Roles, system references and archiving of closed issues.
A hierarchy of Administrator roles enables delegation of certain functions such
as Escalation & the ability to Re-Open closed issues.
Auditing All updates are recorded into a
read-only log to provide a comprehensive activity audit if required.
Reporting is provided via a read-only interface
to allow access for industry standard reporting tools such as Excel, Access,
Crystal Reports etc.
Status screens are
provided for quick system overviews.
Customisation Task Tracker has been developed
using Microsoft .NET technology to allow quick, cost effective and highly
functional customisation.

"SA Lotteries needed a
method of tracking jobs primarily for the the computer help desk, but with the
option to extend the product to cover the agent hotline, and to support the
hardware service technicians. The Job Tracking system from e-Word has provided
that solution in an easy to use Web based interface. I am pleased with the
