Accounting Solution in Microsoft Access
 

Adelaide-based civil engineering company, McMillan Contracting had an aging Dbase III payroll and accounting system that needed upgrading to support GST accounting principals.

A multi-user solution was rapidly developed in Microsoft Access, providing an intuitive graphical user interface and streamlined accounting practices requiring minimal user training.

The system was produced in Access 97 for compatibility with existing Microsoft licences to provide a rich array of business reports specific to the civil engineering industry.

The new system achieved its short implementation timeframe goals, and was a crucial integration element for the timely introduction of GST accounting into McMillan Contracting.
