Documents that
create their own metadata - Dept Environment and Heritage Working closely with the Department of Environment and Heritage, eWord Development has developed Word templates that derive, retrieve or prompt the user to enter metadata, which is then stored in the document's internal storage as custom document properties.
This metadata is then used to facilitate more accurate matching in subsequent document searches.
The templates provide a convenient interface for authors to pre-classified their documents at the time of creation using the 'AAA Keywords' classification system.
The broad concept is to integrate metadata capture with the input of other elements required for document preparation, and to ease the burden of preparing documents while capturing adequate and appropriate metadata.
